Ben was proud of is “proceedings” in Columbus, OH, but he lost his situation there. There has been no money for 3 months. Charlotte goes on to further describe their money situation and difficulty paying the mortgage on a house they bought 18 years ago. She details the work the children are doing. The bank forcing, Ben may have to go to an insane asylum. She would like to have a “lodging house”. She asks Levi for help.
